Example Harbour, Demo, Regno Unito
4.3 6 recensioniAn example of a fully set-up KeelFair marina page
Il porto turistico
Demo Marina sits on the east bank of the Example Harbour, a mile up from the open estuary. The river is sheltered in most winds, so visitors get a quiet night even when the Solent is lively.
Visitor berths are on A Pontoon and the outer hammerhead, with power and water at every berth. The village, its pubs and the little pink ferry to Warsash are a ten-minute walk along the foreshore.
The yard has a 40-tonne travel hoist and hard standing for short lifts, so a quick scrub or a prop check can be booked with the office.
Getting here
- Call on VHF 80 as you pass the Example Harbour Point buoy and we will meet you on the pontoon.
- Keep to the marked channel: the mud dries on either side at low water.
- By road, the marina is signposted from the coast road, with parking by the office.
Visitor pontoons Finger berths for visiting boats up to 24 m, with power and water at every berth.

Thank you Isla, glad the hammerhead worked for you. See you next season.
Thanks Tom. The yard block showers were refitted in September.
Thank you for the kind words. A pontoon has room for catamarans all season, so do ask for it again.
